The Open Source Academy is providing local authorities in the UK with comprehensive advice and guidance, improved access to specialist resources and services, thereby enabling the smooth introduction of Open Source software. Projects have been developed to provide a long-term business model that will provide user support into the future. Those local authorities considering Open Source are provided with the foundations so they can easily  implement Open Source software.The projects provide users with the supporting material for development and decision-making regarding alternatives and best practice guidance. Case studies are used as example success stories.

The Open Source Academy:
