Bradford Council Builds Schools for the Future with Sun Microsystems

Bradford School Children to Benefit from One-to-One ICT Access in Schools of the Future

Sun Microsystems, Inc. the creator and leading advocate of Java technology, today announced it has been selected as part of the Amey led IntegratED Bradford consortium as the preferred ICT supplier by Bradford Metropolitan District Council for its £400 million Building Schools for the Future programme.  The project is committed to transforming education in the district by refurbishing or rebuilding all secondary schools across Bradford over the next ten years.
